people always wonder how in the world we were related.
it's a long story. but just believe us - vanessa and i are "cousins" and "sisters". :)
i met vee when i was 6 and she was 2.
we grew up together as not only cousins, but as pen pals and later in life as neighbors.
we quickly became best friends.
yearrrrrs later, we continue to do life together and have seen each other through MUCH!
more years later, vanessa and sean meet and eventually get married!!
and the following year after that - they have their first born, jadyn.
and yet another year after that - they announce they're having another baby! and it's a girl!!!
all this leads me to yesterday.
i went over to their home to do a mini (literally 30 minute) photo shoot for christmas cards/gifts.
don't you wish you were my family & get all the pics you need for a small fee of a meal! ;)
while i was watching them get things in order and get ready - i was so amazed at how far we all have come. watching vanessa, my bestest of best friends, grow into this beautiful woman, wife and mother is super emotional and special for me. i remember when we were just little kids making up plays about princesses, building igloos during the crazy NY winters, giving each other makeovers, being obsessed with jaci velasquez, talking about boys and about getting married one day... oh! & singing "Jesus will heal your achy breaky heart" in church. haha. and now - we're grown and loving God with everything in us. :)
yes. i love this family with every fiber of me.
the first couple images are of jadyn being distracted by baby einstein on tv and me being in love with his red converse shoes. :) and of course we had to document all of us together! :)
enjoy!
after weeks of re-scheduling due to me getting sick and weather issues, we collided and exploded with some reedy goodness!!!
the reedy's are...
super trendy!
super fun!
super cute!
super fellow OU fans!
love them forever.
enjoy!
ps. the first image is a favorite. we had a few good healthy doses of peek-a-boo today. :)

my pastor and his beautiful family are such a joy to photograph.
due to an upcoming project with the images from today, i'll only share these few with the world.
i seriously love this family.
and could never have enough words to express my gratitude for them, their support and their love they've shown me these last 4 years.
they pretty much brought it and rocked their family session.
then at the end, jayme and i had a 15 minute impromptu senior session.
i had to document her lovely facial reactions. :)
can't wait to give her my full time and photograph her amazingness!!
i'll let these images speak for themselves.
enjoy!
