some time ago, i did an e-session of my younger cousin/brother and his beautiful fiancee.
you're probably wondering, how the heck are they related??
i'm glad you asked. :)
i met robert when i was the tot age of 6 and he was 4ish.
we were related by marriage up until i was 17.
we pretty much grew up together and will forever be family in our hearts.
if anything, he and his three siblings are my own brothers & sister.
all of them are incredibly special and so very dear to me.

fast forward many moons.
and here he is.
a grown man and engaged to his wonderful fiancee, jessica!!
i was so honored they asked me to photograph their wedding next may.
and i'm so happy to be able to display their love for one another.

once upon a time, i decided to take a photography basics class.
in this class was a beautiful girl with the same desire to learn photography.
one day, this girl and i decided to start a conversation where we found a budding friendship.
many days later, she emails me to tell me she had one of the most amazing things happen to her in life - she became engaged to her love.
which leads to today. me displaying the love and laughter of this adorable couple.
and i wish them a life of happily ever afters!!

today, daniel and i had such the amazing honor of meeting the beautiful madelyn! her parents, josh & jess are such good friends of ours. we photographed their engagement session, wedding, maternity and today, we were able to visit their miracle and photograph her amazing-ness. i love the gerstmeyer's with everything in me. and i pray blessings and blessings upon their new addition to their family. :)

last week, i had one of the most amazing weeks of my life!! one of my most amazing bff's and i took a lil' roadtrip to new york to visit family, nyc & to top off all the fun, we were both involved in a wedding!!! :)
my good friend, jen, got married last weekend. i've known jen now for... 12 years!!!! it's hard to believe that we both went to high school together, graduated and now, we're both married!!! time flies.
even though i wasn't the official photographer, i had to bring my camera along and take some shots here and there of the bride and groom. i was able to sneak jen & andy away from the reception for a few lyrics shots. and they were super fun!!

jen - i hope your dominican republic honeymoon is amazing! thanks so much for allowing me to take part in such a special day in your life! being one of your bridesmaids was SO MUCH fun! love you dearly!
